Coach Janei is a dynamic dancer, educator, and community leader with extensive experience in performance, choreography, and dance education. Since 2022, she has mentored young dancers as a coach for the Platinum Divaz, emphasizing confidence, creative expression, and technical excellence. Drawing on over 17 years of experience performing, competing, and teaching across diverse styles–including hip hop, dancehall, step, and jazz–Janei approaches dance as a powerful vehicle for empowerment and healing. Through her nonprofit, 5th Element Center For Dance, she collaborates with the Divaz to provide free tutoring and supplemental dance training, ensuring that the youth with whom she works have access to high-quality arts education and academic support.
